Photography 10 Intro (COMP10XX) - 5 credits

This is an introductory course; no previous experience is needed. Photo 10/Intro introduces students to a variety of technological outlets for digital photography. Students will have the opportunity to learn the essential elements of photography, including camera use, exposure, composition, digital photo editing and digital art creation. Throughout the course, students are expected to go beyond simple “point and shoot” and will learn how to capture images and create art.

Photography 20 Inter (COMP20XX) - 5 credits

Project-based and student-driven, Photo 20/Inter provides opportunity for students to explore their own interests and build on skills developed in Photo 10/Intro. Reflecting on the artistic process and applying critical perspective students gain appreciation and understanding about the impact they can have on the world through digital arts. Students delve deeper into photography and digital imaging gaining skills and experience along the way.

Prerequisite: Photography 10

Photography 30 Adv (COMP30XX) - 5 credits

Project-based and student-driven, Photo 30/Adv further builds upon skills and practices developed in Photo 20/Inter; offering greater student autonomy and opportunity to explore their own interests and passions. Reflecting on the artistic process and applying critical perspective students gain appreciation and understanding about the impact they can have on the world through digital arts.
