Grade 10 & 11 Next Year Registration
If students in grade 10 or 11 missed today’s registration meeting, please be sure to connect with your Period 1 teacher on Monday to begin your next year registration and course selection. Students who have a period 1 spare can connect with a counsellor in Student Services on the second floor.
Marks Updated online
Student grades for courses are now being updated in PowerSchool. Please use your
MyCBE/PowerSchool Account to access grade and attendance updates.
If you would like to use the PowerSchool Mobile App on your phone, download the following app and use the following district code DDXT. Then use the same login information as your PowerSchool Account.
Supporting our School Environment
Durning the current CUPE local 40 strike we ask that all students staff and visitors take extra care in our school environment with using garbage and recycling bins and keeping learning spaces clean.
Thank you to all of our staff and visitors for keeping our school environment clean and safe for learning and extracurricular activities.
Spectators at Athletic Events during the CUPE Local 40 Strike
Unfortunately, we need to reduce the amount of activity in our school during non-instructional time. Moving forward, only parents, guardians and siblings (accompanied by a parent/guardian) will be permitted to attend any athletic events.
Should this policy change we will update the school community immediately.
Returning Grade 12 Applications
Applications for returning grade 12 students will be available in the main office on March 10. Grade 12 students who would like to apply for a returning Grade 12 semester next year must fill out the application before April 3. All applications will be reviewed by administration and guidance and students will be notified if it is approved or denied on or after April 30.
Students in the EAL program can meet with Ms. Boehnert to discuss a returning year or semester.
Pink Shirt Day – Feb 26
Pink Shirt Day was inspired by two Nova Scotia high school students who organized their fellow students to wear pink in support of a Grade 9 boy who was being bullied for wearing a pink shirt.
On Wednesday, Feb. 26, we can show our support for students and our welcoming, caring, respectful, safe, and inclusive school community by wearing a pink shirt. It is a day to encourage everyone to stand up to bullying when they see it in schools, communities, workplaces, at home and online. Thank you for considering this initiative with our school community on February 28.
