Fall Retake Photo Studio Dates
In case any families were unable to photo retakes done at the school, Lifetouch we will be having fall photos in our studio on Friday Nov. 13 and on Saturday Nov. 21.
They are located at 5329 72 Ave SE #30, not far from the Flying Squirrel in the SE and the Soccer Centre. Scan the QR code sent in your weekly email to book.
Attendance
If your child is going to be late or absent to school, please email forestlawn@cbe.ab.ca; this is a much quicker method to relay this information.
Our school telephone lines are very busy in the morning, and we cannot answer every call, so please try to email in the absence information.
If you do leave a message, please do not expect the attendance to be completed before noon. We have many phone messages per day and it takes some time to go through all of the attendance messages.
Fragrance-Free Reminder
Students are not permitted to spray perfume, cologne, or other scented products in the school, classrooms, or locker areas. As several students and staff members have allergies and sensitivities to fragrances, we appreciate families reinforcing this expectation to help keep our learning environment safe and welcoming for all.
Morning Entry
For the safety and security of all students, doors to the school will remain locked until 8:25 a.m.
Students are not permitted inside the building before this time unless they are participating in a school-designated activity and are directly supervised by staff.
We kindly ask parents and guardians to plan drop-off times accordingly. Thank you for helping us keep our school a safe and caring environment for everyone.
