The Next Career Talk | Are you curious about a career as a Paramedic

You're Invited!

In partnership with the City of Calgary, The Journey Forward program promotes high school completion by having volunteers share their personal stories and journeys into their respective professions through small, informal discussion groups (approx. 15 students). Each session focuses on the importance of setting obtainable goals, navigating the world of work, overcoming challenges and self-discovery.

Are you curious about a career as a Paramedic?

Naomi Nania is an Advanced Care Paramedic for 18 years with the City Of Calgary/ AHS EMS. In that time, she has been a Crew Chief, Public Education Officer/Media correspondent, as well as worked on the Mobile Integrated Health Team.  Recently she has been on a project that focuses on High School education/discussions and presentations as well as Career Fairs and been the lead on Female First Responder events in and around Calgary. She was on the Team for Camp Courage as well this year and looks forward to continuing her journey and growing opportunities to share about her profession and passion.
