Making Changes to Student Schedules:
Students will be able to see their timetable in PowerSchool on Friday, August 14th at 9 a.m., and will be able to request changes using the link below.
Please note: Although you may see your schedules in PowerSchool, please remember that schedules may not be finalized until the end of August, as there may be late changes due to new registrations, balancing timetables, changes to teacher assignments, etc. Some student requests for options may not have been accommodated due to class sizes and availability, so counsellors had to go to alternate choices.
Students are encouraged to take a screen shot of their schedule the night before to refer to on the first day of classes.
For those new to the CBE, parents can make a parent account to access the timetable before the first day of school. Students can login into their account when they come into the building for pictures on August 24 or 25.
There is limited room in classes to accommodate changes so our priority must be the following:
- Missing prerequisites
- Missing graduation requirements
- Core classes are imbalanced
- Summer School results
- Change of course sequence
We will unfortunately not be able to accommodate semester preferences, teacher preferences and peer preferences. Option and course changes will only be accommodated if there is room in the course requested.
